General Information
STATE RANGELAND FOR LEASE
Land owned by the Oregon Department of State Lands (DSL) is offered to qualified applicants for rangeland lease. The approximately 360-acre parcel is located in Crook County.
Leasehold Location:Approximately 11 miles NW of Prineville, located 1 mile North of Hwy 26
T13S R15E Section 18 Lot 2, 3 SE4NW4, NE4SW4, N2SE4, SW4SE4
T13S R15E Section 17 N2SW4
Base Rate Grazing Capacity: 15 AUMs
Base Rental Rate:$250 minimum annual lease payment
Term: 10 years
Application forms, information about grazing season, and management requirements are available from the Department of State Lands, Eastern Region Office, 1645 NE Forbes Rd, Suite 1112, Bend, OR 97701; 541-388-6112; www.oregonstatelands.us. Applications for an alternate use will be considered. A non-refundable application fee of $250.00 is required per leasehold.
Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on March 1, 2012.
DSL will review all applications received by the deadline in accordance with OAR 141-110-0035, and make a lease offer to the best-qualified applicant within 30 days.
